Quinn Tarrant is a refugee from a USA locked in civil war. He can only watch as his wife and daughter are murdered on a midnight beach. Cast adrift in the stormy Caribbean, he is shipwrecked on Ragged Island—a tropical idyll where super-rich criminals trade in people and death.
Escaping the horrors of the island, Quinn finds sanctuary in Cuba. Once there, though, he discovers that the billionaires he saw partying on Ragged Island were the very people who started the war that destroyed his family.
Quinn faces a choice: remain in the safety of Cuba or seek vengeance on Ragged Island.

The idea for Ragged Island grew in the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol in Washington DC in 2021. It’s fiction.
However, the last few months have made me wonder if some of the story might be nearer reality than I thought.
